Important Race Info:

PACKET PICKUP:

• Thursday, May 17th at the Edward Jones, Ferguson Branch (409 South Florissant Road) from 8am-5:30pm
  
• Friday, May 18th at the Ferguson Bicycle Shop (429 South Florissant Road) from 5-8pm
  
• Saturday, May 19th at the Ferguson Farmers' Market (20 South Florissant Road) from 8-Noon

RACE DAY:

8am-Noon: Wellness Day & Packet Pickup @ Ferguson Farmers' Market

Vendors include Christian Hospital Diabetes Mobile Unit, Live Well Ferguson, Emerson Family YMCA, Big River Running, Ferguson Wellness, Alzheimer’s Association, Saving our Neighbor’s Lives, and Walgreens

4pm: Packet Pickup & Late Registration Begins & Streetcar Lofts next to Ferguson Bicycle Shop

5pm: Start of One-Mile Fun Run @ Plaza at 501 (501 South Florissant Road)

6pm: Start of Twilight 5K @ Plaza at 501

Finish Area Vendors include Emerson Family YMCA, Ferguson Brewing Company, Michelob Ultra, Lionheart Personal Training, Pain Relief Associates, Precision Health Group, and ARAMARK

6:30pm: Ferguson Citywalk Concert by the SMASH Band @ Plaza at 501

7:30pm: Awards Ceremony @ Plaza at 501

DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION:

• 8am-Noon during the Wellness Fair at the Ferguson Farmer’s Market; or
• 4pm till 15 minutes before each race at the Streetcar Lofts

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Street Closures – The streets will be blocked off for the race. Street closures will begin at 4:30pm along Suburban Avenue and 5:30pm along Florissant Road. Please plan accordingly for traveling to the event and parking. Roads along the route will open again as the 5K runners/walkers make their way through historic Ferguson. There is no rush in leaving; there will be plenty of entertainment and restaurant options available in close proximity to the finish.
  
• Race Policies – Because of safety reasons, we DO NOT allow pets in the 5K Run/Walk, but they will be permitted in the One-Mile Fun Run only. Bicycles are not allowed on either route.
  
• Water Stations and Refreshments – Water, cookies, bananas, beer, and rootbeer will be provided at the end for all finishes of the One -Mile Fun Run and 5K run/walk. There will also be two water stations positioned along the 5K course
  
• Free Concert Seating – There is limited seating available at the plaza so feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets for you and your family to enjoy the sounds of the SMASH band during the post race concert. Food Vendors will also be hand during the concert.
  
• Running/Walking for a Cause – As a reminder, donations from the 5K and One-Mile Fun Run will benefit youth summer camp scholarships at Emerson Family YMCA

PARKING:

We highly recommend that you park at the McCluer South Berkeley High School parking lot. A shuttle will run every 10 minutes between 3:30pm and 8:30pm transporting you to and from the race location. Please respect the local businesses and do not park in their private parking lots. There are public parking areas throughout downtown Ferguson (indicated as a Live Well Events Race Parking). Please also be cautious of street parking as to allow for residential traffic to pass through safely once streets are back open while you are enjoying the free concert.

WEATHER PLAN:

On race day, the Race Committee with Big River Running will decide if any changes will be made to the race due to severe weather (heavy rain, thunder, and/or lightening). The start time may change or the event may be cancelled. No refunds will be given if the event is cancelled due to an extreme condition. Rain is not considered an extreme condition. In the event of cancellation or changes, you will be notified by email.
